Gerry Solan of gerard Photography, inc. has been awarded the Master's Degree which is the highest honor in the worldwide association of more than 22,000 members. The Master of Photography Degree is presented in recognition of superior photographic competence demonstrated through photographic competition, advanced education, and service to the profession.

12-01-09 - Professional Photographers of America (PPA), a worldwide association with more than 22,000 members will honor Gerry Solan of gerard Photography in Mount Pleasant, PA at PPA's annual convention, Imaging USA, January 2010 in Nashville, TN. Gerry was one of only 61 Bronze Level Photographers of the Year. "These awards are among the most prestigious in the industry", confirms PPA Print Exhibition Committee Chairperson, Helen Yancy. "The recipients of these awards have proven the quality of their work on a consistent basis in one of the highest quality image competitions in the world, PPA's International Print Competition".

Best 2009 Wedding Album In PA
Added yet another "First Place Trophy" to the list of recent accolades...
Professional Photographers of Pennsylvania held their annual convention and print competition on April 19 - 21 and we were fortunate to have our wedding album (Kristen and Danny) singled out as the best in PA. The score card now reads 21 first place awards (state, multi-state, and national competitions) in the past four years - more than any other photographer in Pennsylvania !

Three More "First Place" Trophies
Professional Photographers of West Virginia held their annual print competition Febuary 6-8, 2009 in Morgantown WV and I was fortunate to win three first place awards - Best (out of state) Wedding Candid, Best (out of state) Illustrative, and Best (out of state) of Show. Here are my four "Blue Ribbon" prints.
